Flagging

Flagstone Patios by Cheshire Paving Company in Chester
The blend of colour and tones in natural stone paving makes for stunning patios which are also highly resilient and hard wearing.
Hard wearing flagstone patios
The terms "flags / flagstones" and "slabs" are interchangeable and usually depend on which part of the country you live in. They are usually man-made, wet-pressed or moulded rectangles and come in a range of colours and, indeed, shapes. Slabs can have a textured surface such as a coarse-grit finish or a decorative finish that mimics old-fashioned cobble stones. The "riven" version is also popular- this is simply a term for a copy of a natural stone flag. Cheshire Paving Company uses only quality flagstones from the UK's leading suppliers.
As with all our work, site preparation is essential and we will ensure that your new slabbed project, whether it's a patio, a pathway or a shed base, sits on a level and well-drained base. Paving slabs offer you a simple choice with a huge range of options at reasonable cost. Call Cheshire Paving Company today for a free no-obligation quotation or for more information on 01244 456545 or 07768 936 947 or email us.
